Our first stop--Loopy's Bar in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Steve King, Eric Zimmerman, Dave Detienne and the Loopy's Bear.
One last stop at Steve's parents.
And off to Duke's Bowl...home of the Hot Beef and the 70's ceramic dinnerware.
Filled with deep fried treats from America's Heartland.
Dukes and a dork.
Next stop, Eppler's roadside tavern, home of DAB beer.
Rockin' some classic country on the antique jukebox.
"All the gold....in California...is in a bank in the middle of Beverly Hills...in somebody else's name..."
The co-owner breaks out his toy accordion.
And plays if for us (video)
Posing with Ma and Pa Eppler.
Next stop is a small bar just outside of Green Bay.
The lady who owned it has a bit of an Elvis fetish.
There she is in the back, with her little dog and some questionable eye makeup.
Our favorite hang-out of the trip. The C Street Lounge in downtown Green Bay.
These guys are some professional drinkers.
We played a lot of dice games.
Our favorite bartenders Beth and Denise (and a few dorks.)
On the way back, we found a twin mattress on the road (still in its plastic seal.)
So we tried dragging it back to the hotel.
Until we got bored with it, and Rocco did a magnificent belly flop.
We came back to the hotel, only to find Dave passed out.
He had made a stop at Erbert and Gerbert's.
Look how he manages to hang on to the remote control.
How did this happen?
How did this guy get a job in professional football?
Good seats eh?
That dude was wearing shorts and it was like 30 degrees out.
The Packers beat the Lions in a pretty unexciting game.
Although Brett Favre passed Dan Marino on the all time passing list.
